Mary Farrin, a lesser-known designer these days, was famous in her era for her Maltese knits. At one time, she had 500 women knitting for her in Malta! Her pieces were famous in the swinging 60's. They had all of the London-boutique design hallmarks of her contemporaries such as Biba and Ossie Clark. Her boutique was on South Molton Street, and she achieved a fervent cult following among the fashionistas of the time.
