This dress has a cinematic quality, it says 60's starlet to us, it could either have been in a movie or have been worn by one of the chic young actresses of the era. We can see Julie Christie in this, in the time of Darling. Has a very mod vibe.
The black see-through lace is so naughty, Victorian, and demure all at once. The noir fabric is a material which feels just like mode crepe, but isn't . . . the shoulders are really dainty little peaked affairs . . . please forgive our rather broad-shouldered mannequin! The sleeves are slim and fitted. The belt is removable. The dress is unlined.
A beautiful example of high-quality British mod style. Super!
