This Jeff Banks beauty is 70s-does-40s at its very best! London retro style brilliance in a lovely soft shade of jade/moss green with cranberry, taupe, and ivory accents, and specks of black. The print is a subtle, abstract floral with feathery swirls. The fabric is a liquid, flowing rayon.
The construction-quality is tip-top superb. The bodice is precision-sculpted with seams throughout. The sleeves and waist are beautifully banded, and the little peaked shoulder have gorgeous gathers. This dress is just SO well made . . . the ultra-feminine skirt has two darts with contrasting fabric panels. The skirt is lined in soft nylon acetate, the bodice is unlined. The fabric buttons are totally Ossie/Biba-inspired. Back zipper.
